How do we thrive in times of reform and change?

With an upcoming election in November, a series of WoG reforms in progress and the onset of ‘outcome based’ reporting comes an increased pressure on Departments and Agencies to bridge the gap between strategic intent and the delivery of outcomes in the state government sector. In the Victorian State Government environment today, it’s become increasingly important to work collaboratively across government to implement change for the public and to demonstrate the effectiveness of delivery in achieving long-term outcomes.

CAMMS has recently partnered with a number of Victorian State Government Departments and Agencies over the past 3-6 months to support a variety of common requirements across the sector. Did you know CAMMS is now supporting…

Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) manage the WoG response to the Royal Commission into Family Violence including reporting on the 227 recommendations and 29 projects being delivered across government
Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) and Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) manage the transfer of NDIS services to the private sector over the next 12 months
Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) implement a ‘department wide’ approach to reporting on election commitments, BP3 measures, strategic plan initiatives and risk assessments to the Board and Executive
V/Line rollout an enterprise risk management framework and approach to all business functions in line with the VGRMF
Department of Justice and Regulation (DJR) implement a ‘department wide’ approach to Incident investigations across all DJR staff including Prisons and Youth Justice Centres
Sustainability Victoria (SV) manage and report on its Benefits Realisation Program including all projects and benefits measures to the Board and Executive
Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) implement an approach to capture all project bids across the Department for IRSK funded and operational projects
Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (GMCT) develop and implement a Project Management Framework to manage its $60m capital works programme

CAMMS will be hosting an industry specialised event with the intention to engage with leaders from the state government sector to enable a forum for attendees to address common industry problems. This will include the opportunity to hear learnings from our recent partnerships with the Department of Premier and Cabinet in governing the WoG response to the Royal Commission into Family Violence along with other organisations using our solutions to support Benefits Realisation and Performance Reporting (e.g. BP3).
