CAMMS would like to congratulate the LGPro 2013 Excellence in Local Government award winners which were announced at the recent LGPro Corporate Planners Network Awards held in Melbourne, Australia. Client, Maroondah City Council won the prestigious Excellence in Local Government and Community Planning award for their Planning of the Future Youth Plan for 2012-2016. Winner of the Special Award for Best Practices and Innovation in Council Plan Development, awarded every four years, went to another CAMMS Client, Darebin City Council. Congratulations also go out to more CAMMS customers for being finalists at this year's awards: City of Casey, City of Kingston and Knox City Council. Excellence is hard to achieve and CAMMS is proud to support them as they succeed. Good Luck for next year!
In other news we hear this week that CAMMS client Waipa District Council was awarded Silver in the 2013 NZ Business Excellence Foundation Awards. The awards are based on the US-based Baldridge criteria which measures levels of performance across all areas of a business and are based on stringent international benchmarks for performance. Congratulations to Waipa on an outstanding result.
Late November we brought together over 70 CAMMS existing and future customers for two days of content rich presentations at the Harbourview Function Centre in Newcastle. Whilst the weather may not have been so kind to us the agenda kept us from looking out the windows at the stunning view of Newcastle's very unique working harbour and surrounding areas.
With an inspiring opening address from Newcastle’s Deputy Lord Mayor, Cr Brad Luke, there were many key themes presented at this year’s event including:
♦ Maximising Your Intelligent Performance
♦ Business Excellence
♦ It's All About the Outputs
♦ Making It Happen
♦ The Journey and the Direction
♦ Improving Performance Management, Monitoring and Reporting
We thank all our guest speakers for their contribution to the success of the event. Early feedback from delegates suggests the event surpassed expectations, with many commenting on how terrific it was to hear from other CAMMS clients and to get some insight into the future direction of CAMMS Solutions.

The level of involvement is completely up to you. Unlike LinkedIn groups which are public the CAMMS Forum is completely private and secure.
To gain access to the CAMMS Forum you will need to register first. Once approved you will have access to all discussions relating to the CAMMS solutions your company is using. The Forum is divided into four categories: General, Risk Management, Corporate Planning and Project Management.

The LGPro Corporate Planners Network Awards
It was a great pleasure for CAMMS to again this year be involved in the LGPro Corporate Planners Network Awards. With many familiar faces in attendance it was a privilege to witness and present at the event and to also see so many of our clients being recognised for their efforts.
LG 2.0 Webinar Series & Online Expo: Transforming local government performance through innovation & digital solutions
CAMMS sponsored and took part in this three day virtual event which delivered a series of webinars on how governments can use new technologies to improve their outputs and performance.
LG 2.0 is still open so if you'd like to check it out for yourself visit the LG News website.
ASHFMA 'Excellence in Innovation'
For the first time CAMMS was a proud sponsor of the 2013 ASHFMA 'Excellence in Innovation' Conference.
The two day event attracted 306 delegates, making it the biggest in AHSFMA's history. The line-up of forty speakers included 6 CEO's, 6 CFO's and 4 international speakers from the National Health Service in the UK.

Clinton Mottram, CAMMS GM for Australia and New Zealand, co-presented with Christopher Horn, Health Redesign Lead, Business Support & Innovation at Western District Health Services on the topic of 'Accreditation made easy with technology on your side.'
LGMA WA State conference, Fremantle, Western Australia
Again this year, CAMMS was glad to be involved in the LGMA WA Annual State Conference which recently took place in Fremantle. The event was a great success attracting local government delegates from across Western Australia.

The program was very well received with relevant topics and key highlights. Paul Huschilt was hilarious during his conference review at the annual gala dinner and Kevin Sheedy provided a great end to the 3 days with his speech at the annual sports dinner.
2013 SOLGM Annual Summit in New Zealand
This 2013 SOLGM Annual Summit in New Zealand was aptly themed "Managing the Gap".
Selected due to the increasing emphasis on local government professionals need to scope and scale their management practices at a revolutionary pace, posing increasingly interesting challenges for them as they wrestle with the gaps that are being created by that change.
39th Annual RIMS Canada Conference
RIMS covered a lot of ground this year. As new comers to Canada we certainly got a lot out of the event which we sponsored with partner RiskWide and hope you did too.
In October, CAMMS continued its international expansion with the relocation of its North American office to Vancouver. Headed up by company director Beau Murfitt, the expansion relocation was seen as a logical next step in the company's aggressive expansion plans in North America to deliver corporate performance management solutions to the global market.
